A solo project from Nuno Mira do Ó which began as a team venture in 2012 with his late partner João Corrêa. This is a personal project, driven by passion for wines filled with freshness, elegance and aging potential. The Dão is a region that is famous for providing these qualities. It has a rich in history of producing some of Portugal’s most elegant and defined wines, with its high altitude vineyards and granite soils, its cool climate and its indigenous varieties.
Nuno started his viticultural and enological life in the historical appellation of Bucelas working at the time as winemaker for Quinta da Romeira. The Mira Bucelas is proof of the incredible potential of Bucelas and a testament to Arinto’s amazing complexity and longevity.
Druida, Vidente, and Caminhante are handcrafted wines made from small and very special vineyards located on a plateau at 500 meters of altitude, on the right bank of the river Dão. Winemaking takes place in a small cellar made of stone, established in the middle of the vineyards. It is a minimum intervention winemaking where the main goal is the expression of the grapes and the region.
